Social media users, who viewed the images of a burning building on Facebook and claim to be able to see faces the fire licking the roof.
The photographs of Park Congregational Church in Llanelli, South Wales, were taken by Robert Davies as the blaze took hold on Thursday evening.
When he posted it to Facebook, the picture was met with comments claiming a spooky phenomenon.
One user, Dai Thomas, said: “Am I the only one that can see faces in this photo?”
Marc Spalding said: “I can see four faces. Two on the left, one in the middle and one on the right.”
And Jenifer Gilmore added: “Your picture has freaky faces in it. LOTS of freaky faces x.”
Robert told Wales Online that the photo had NOT been altered with image software, saying:
“It is 100 per cent not Photoshopped!“I took it on my phone and uploaded it to Facebook straight away.”
