Edo State government denies hosting Dillish? Lol. Stop, please!

So there's a press statement from Edo State government denying hosting BBA winner, Dillish, last weekend. Well, they kinda have a point...they can say the government didn't host her, but Governor Adams Oshiomhole hosted her...and that's fact! She wasn't hosted at the government house, but the governor's private house in Edo state. Dillish and a few other girls were there on Saturday October 19th (for those wondering why she didn't make an appearance at Selly's party in Abuja that day) and I have the low down of everything that went down but I will leave all that out because after all said and done, Gov Oshimhole is a single man. I can also tell you one thing for free, Dillish gave a condition for accepting the invitation..she would only pay a courtesy visit and nothing more. All parties agreed!

EDO STATE GOVERNMENT DID NOT HOST BBA’S DILLISH.
Our attention has been drawn to a news report in Daily Independent of Friday, October 25, 2013, where one Mr. Eddie Iroh was quoted as expressing displeasure on a rumoured hosting of Dillish, the winner of Big Brother Africa. In the said report, Eddie Iroh was said to have “condemned the Governor for spending state’s funds so recklessly”.

The report added that “ the likes of Governors Oshiomhole, Fashola and Dickson who are in the habit of dipping their hands into public funds on such ventures should have known that in civilized climes, such celebrations were funded from the Governors’pockets and not public funds”. How libelous!

From the above, it is obvious that Mr. Eddie Iroh is suffering from brain wave. First, it would have been a thing of interest for Edo State Government to host the said BBA winner, Dillish, to justify her well-advertised declaration in the BBA House that Edo State people are very hospitable. That in itself was a global endorsement that is purely priceless. Again, if Dillish would agree, as a BBA ambassador, Edo State Government would be willing to host her in future to prove to cynics and naysayers like Eddie Iroh that Edo State is indeed, not only hospitable, but also a safe haven for those who intend to do legitimate business in the State. It will be a departure from orchestrated and concocted stories often peddled by jobless people like Eddie Iroh, who rather than devote their old age to reflect on their absurdities when they called the shots, have now taken to the cyber space for surfing cheap gossip, chit-chat and unfounded allegations.

To the best of our knowledge, Edo State did not host Dillish in whatever material particular. This could be verified from the Governor’s daily routines which are usually available for public consumption and can be confirmed from the Protocol Department of the Governor’s Office or Government House. Mr. Eddie Iroh’s comment is pure hallucination. Eddie Iroh’s story is an open sore that is festered with several incongruities, inanities, ambiguities and failing memory. He should provide evidence to show that Governor Oshiomhole dips his hands into public funds to host his private visitors or simply keep his mouth shut. We have gone past the age of Eddie Iroh, an age of those men of yesterday, who abused public institutions they presided over, to fest their nest at the expense of tax payers’ money. In Edo State, we are not only accountable to the people; we have also earned their respect and trust.

BBA Dillish Hosted By Gov. Adams Oshiomhole In Benin

Though this isn't Dillish's first time in Nigeria, it is her first since she won Big Brother Africa The Chase.

 

Dillish had arrived Nigeria some days ago and is currently in Benin, Edo State with Governor Adams Oshiomhole as her host.

 

The last time she was in Edo State, that was last year, Dillish participated in the Miss University Africa beauty pageant which held in the State.

She ended up being crowned first Princess and was named Miss Photogenic and Miss President’s Choice from a pool of 39 other African beauty queens.

According to my sources in South Africa, Beverly Osu's man in the BBA house, South African dancer Angelo Collins is kinda back with his South African girlfriend, Candice Arends. Well, it's more like he's trying to woo her back and they've been spotted meeting up at different spots in South Africa. It remains to be seen if their reconciliation will be a permanent one.

Meanwhile, I heard that things kinda fell apart for Bev and Angelo while he was in Nigeria a few weeks ago. Not only did Angelo make Bev's people buy his ticket to come to Nigeria, he also refused to be intimate with Bev while he was her though they shared the same hotel rooms. (Don't ask me how I know these things lol). Angelo said he wanted to wait until things got serious between them. It didn't. And I hear Bev is sad about it but moving ahead.

This is a LIB exclusive and it is authentic. BBA winner Dillish Matthews and her Namibian best friend who also contested in BBA Maria Nepembe (pictured above) are currently in Nigeria. They came in quietly into the country a few days ago and went straight to Benin were they were hosted by Governor Adams Oshiomhole. You will recall that while in the BBA house, Dillish used to call on Gov Oshiomhole and other Nigerian rich men like Dangote to bless her with money and change her life. Well, God changed her life by making her the winner of the 2013 Big Brother Africa competition and Governor Oshiomhole, I hear, made her richer after her courtesy visit. :-)

I attended Daughters of Divine Love Convent, Enugu State. I thought I would be a reverend sister but I abandoned the vision when I dropped out in my fifth year. I finished my secondary education in a secular institution before moving to Babcock University.  I could not finish from Babcock because I had some personal issues. Again, I dropped and enrolled at the National Open University.

It affected me in a very spiritual way. In as much as I know worldly things, I still fear God and have faith in Him. The reason why I wanted to become a nun was because I was raised in a Catholic home.  I just felt it was the best thing for me to do at that time. I used to see myself as a messenger of God. Even though I did not become a nun, I still remain faithful to God. Part of my dreams is to establish a church and do a lot of charity work.

Scandal: Nigerian BBA Rep, Beverly Osu Goes Gaga

I am actually short of words to describe this national scandal. I am also sure that some people will go religious with quotes like “Casting the first stone”, “No one is righteous”, or use some other justification like “she has her to live”, or be quick to blame it on the alcohol; “Oh, Beverly had a lot to drink and probably lost total control”, “she did not know what she was doing in the bedroom”, but I must still say that such immorality is un-Nigerian.

You may be wondering what am driving at: well, if you did not see it, let me tell you how Nigeria’s representative at the ongoing Big Brother Africa, Beverly Osu misbehaved in the house in front of cameras and international audience. She went totally loose and got all nasty with South African housemate Angelo, hands and lips and allowed him to ‘finger’ her. 

To make matters even worse, fellow housemates Pokello and Elikem were settled in and peacefully watching as Beverly and Angelo handled their nasty business. Well, I am not her father, brother or husband but as a Nigerian, I am worried at her sex display.
