OBI OF AKUMAZI TASKS ALL IKA TRADITION RULERS TO SUPPORT OKOWA
IKA WEEKLY
The longest reigning monarch in Ika nation HRM, Obi Stephen C. Osagie III, (JP), Obi of Akumazi kingdom in Ika North East local government area has tasked all traditional rulers and people of Ika nation to support massively the gubernatorial ambition of Senator Ifeanyi Okowa as the next governor of Delta State come February 28 general election.
His words, “I wish Okowa peace and prosperity because that is his wish for all Deltans. Our people should vote him to success as the next governor of Delta State. The whole Obi's and their subjects in Ika nation should support and vote him to success. If Okowa emerges governor, he will do wonderfully well. There are no tarred roads in the whole of Akumazi kingdom, no street lights and no jobs. When our youths graduate from school, there are no jobs for them to do. They are just like someone without a father. Without jobs, they cannot stand. Someone has to employ them to keep them busy. When Okowa becomes the governor, he should address these issues.”
