The youth wing of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Ika South Local Government Area has affirmed their support for the Ika South State House of Assembly candidate, Hon Isaac Ulebor and also the House of Representatives candidate in Ika federal constituency Hon Victor Nwokolo.
The youths during their enlarged meeting on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at the party's secretariat in Agbor said that Ulebor and Nwokolo are their choices in both the National and State Assemblies elections.
The executive chairman of Ika South local government, Hon Fred Ofume while addressing the youths during the meeting advised them not to relent in their support for all the PDP candidates contestin the 2015 polls.
Speaking also, a PDP chieftain from Ika North East, Hon Ifeanyi Eboigbe, while advocating for the empowerment of the youths called on them (youths) to work towards the victory of President Jonathan, Senator Okowa, Chief Peter Nwaoboshi, Victor Nwokolo, and Isaac Ulebor, assuring that they will not be disappointed if they do.
The PDP Ika South youth leader, Comrade Friday Orubor in his remark during the meeting said youths of the party in Ika South are solidly behind all the PDP candidates starting from Isaac Ulebor to President Goodluck Jonathan. He boasted that no opposition candidate will win election in Ika South.
