2015: EBOIGBE, NWAGIMEJE CALL FOR MORE SUPPORT FOR OKOWA -IKA WEEKLY


Hon Ifeanyi Eboigbe has called for more support for the Senator representing Delta North at the National Assembly, Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa ahead the 2015 governorship election in the state. Hon Eboigbe made the call on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 while addressing an enlarged crowd of Otu Umunne members during their general meeting held at Igumbor Otiku Primary School field, Agbor.

He said, “power belongs to God and not man. We are very optimistic that come May 29, 2015, our great and distinguished Senator, Ifeanyi Okowa will be sworn-in as the next governor of Delta State. We are very sure that Okowa is going to win the 2015 governorship election in Delta State because the voice of the people is the voice of God. Let us not relent in our prayers and support for him. We can also do more by letting all Deltans know that Okowa is our choice.”

On his part, Pa John Nwagimeje described Senator Ifeanyi Okowa as a selfless and charismatic leader who if voted into office as governor in 2015 will not disappoint Deltans. He expressed hope that come 2015 Senator Okowa will be in the Government House.

Chief Dame Patience Iyasere and others who spoke during the meeting called on Deltans to throw their weight behind Senator Okowa's aspiration.

Present at the meeting were, Col. Godwin Eboma, rtd., Chief I.S. Agidi, Bishop Triumphant Osian, Elder (Dr) Chukwuma Nwaonicha, Hon Ifeanyi Eboigbe, Chief James Aziken, Chief (Dr.) Emmanuel Tibi, Jude Onya, Benjamin Okwube, Ewere Elueboh, Hon Godwin Ezedom, Solomon Amokwu, Davsion Okafor, Bar. Eugene Uzum, Emeke Asiwe, Mr. S. Bama, Chief Dame (Mrs.) Patience Iyasere, Queen Anthonia Ezenwali and Chief Benson Iyama. Others were George Ugbobu, Andrew Ajabor, Chief S.E Otonekwu, Hon Jude Ugboh, among others.
