Atiku Abubakar congratulates Gen. Buhari

The former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar wrote a congratulatory message to General Muhammadu Buhari which he shared on Facebook.

My hearty congratulations to His Excellency, General Muhammadu Buhari, for being elected the next president of our beloved country, Nigeria. You have led our party, the All Progressives Congress to an unprecedented victory within two years of it’s official formation, and in so doing, written the most important chapter of our democracy.

The great Nnamdi Azikiwe once wrote that “history will continue to vindicate the just”. Your victory in the polls, with votes from across the length and breadth of our country, bears witness to the acceptance of not just our party, the APC, but also your ideology of justice, fair play and zero tolerance for corruption as the bedrock for national rebirth.

At this historic moment, it is most important to say a hearty thank you to every Nigerian who voted for the APC. Your votes have not just elected the first opposition party into federal power, but has also set a precedent which will have positive implications for democracy across Africa.

Dear GMB, the journey has just begun. Millions of Nigerians have put their trust in you, because they were not satisfied with the status quo. You represent the hope of a new generation of Nigerians, and you cannot afford to fail them. Our party has made a promise of change to our young people, to secure and rebuild our country, create jobs and opportunity, and improve citizens’ welfare. We will stand behind you to ensure we keep those promises, just like we did during these elections.

Our country needs a new direction. We have voted for you, and our party won the election, but when you assume our highest office, you must become the president of not just the APC, but all of Nigeria, including the people who did not vote for you. We look up to you to heal the fractures of our country, and truly unite this country like never before.

To President Jonathan, I want to specially thank you for conducting a historic election. Your party may have lost the elections, but you have won the admiration of the world by not interfering with the wishes of Nigerians. History will be kind to you.

It is my sincere hope that we will all come together as one country, to build the Nigeria of our dreams.
God bless Nigeria.

How Tinubu was embarrassed by a thug at polling unit

Former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, was embarrassed by a thug, Ise Aye, while Tinubu was doing his accreditation at polling unit 047 on Kaffi/Sunday Adigun Street, Alausa, Ikeja.

The thug, who had scars on his face and tattoos all over his body, shouted at the governor and accused him of neglecting some of the youths in the area.
While shouting in Yoruba, he said, “You abandoned us here. The leaders here did not give us money. I know what I have suffered in the hands of the PDP all because I refused to join them. We remained loyal to the APC because of your late mother (Iya Mogaji) that lived here.Anytime I come here looking for money, they refer me to Bourdillon in Ikoyi but no one allows me to enter your mansion.”

Tinubu, who felt insulted by the outburst, described Ise Aye as an untrained young man lacking in wisdom.

He said, “Do you have any sense at all? Is that how you were trained to talk to elders. Get out of here, you are embarrassing me.”
The young man eventually prostrated for Tinubu.

When asked by a reporter why he supported Jonathan instead of Nuhu Ribadu of his party(the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria) in the 2011 elections, Tinubu said, “You must retract that statement. If not, I will assume that you are working for the PDP.

“I never supported Jonathan in 2011. I can never destroy what I used my hands to build.”

WHY GOODLUCK JONATHAN SHOULD BE VOTED FOR

IKA WEEKLY

As long as any person is able to emerge as the presidential flag bearer of his party, it means that the candidate is a worthy person to a great extent under normal circumstances. Therefore, all the presidential flag bearers are qualified and good citizens to a great extent. Notwithstanding, “All animals are equal, but some are more equal than the others”.

President Goodluck Jonathan stands as a better candidate than any other presidential aspirants in the following ways, in particular if compared with his main opposition candidate. He encourages the Fundamental Human Rights to strive in Nigeria in particular freedom of speech. Before now, no president of this country had ever permitted people to criticize them how much more to insult them publicly, nationally or internationally and go scot free. Behold, if he is to act as his predecessors acted, the prison that is already filled up could have been over congested by now.

His regime is devoid of politically motivated killings at the Federal Level. Those busy shouting of daily killings in their respective states are the real architect of the local killings which has no link with the Federal arrangements. Please, take your mind back to late Bola Ige, Dele Giwa, Ken Saro-Wiwa, Fred Rewane all of blessed memories.

In the Educational sector, most of us suffered incessant strikes when we were undergraduates, a course of 4 years could linger to six years and that of six years to nine years or more. Facilities in the primary, secondary and higher institutions were grounded, most especially the tertiary institutions. Today the story has changed during his regime. He has established more functioning schools in the country especially in educationally deficient areas which favour the Northerners. He has built enough schools for the almajiris, surprisingly, his opposers and critics have sponsored the destruction of those schools claiming that their people do not need the schools, as they don't need education nor knowledge rather they prefer ignorance and backwardness.

In transportation sector, I want you to flash your mind back to about 7 years to 20 years ago and the many hours it use take to travel from Lagos to Calabar, Agbor to Enugu, Benin to Sokoto and other parts of the country by road. Also, check the rate of accidents on the road, the deplorable state of roads and other negligence as at that time including police and other security harassments during the past regimes before President Goodluck Jonathan took over the mantle of leadership. They are never comparable to the joy of plying Federal roads today. Also, we have more airports, better rail and water transportation today. All these are gradually decongesting our busy roads. Moreover, the second Niger Bridge is under construction which other presidents have been avoiding due to the huge sum of money it requires and other reasons.

In the Agriculture sector, right now there is a drastic drop in the importation of food into Nigeria due to the proper
understanding of the problem and solution to food supply. Fertilizer distribution system, construction of dams, processing of our produce, provision of machines and other necessary assistance have paved way for this innovation. It is a well known fact that very soon, importation of food such as rice and beans especially will become a thing of the past and we will start exporting same to other countries.

It is only during Goodluck Jonathan regime we have seen the National Honour to be devoid of politically motivated issues. This time around, a faithful driver, professional actors/actresses, our heroes, cook, messengers and who soever that deserves national honour were considered. No president before him has ever remembered those salient areas such as the designer of our National flag nor the composer of our National Anthem.

Our president is the one that has involved the female gender in his governance with high percentage and were given good portfolios. He refused to bench them in the kitchen alone. Many have been shouting the slogan that they will end corruption in one day. All attempts to explain how they will end it proved abortive. The president has done his best to block all the channels through which financial corrupt practices are being erupted. He has recovered more than N400 billion within a short period of time. Kudos to him.

In security areas, a large number of Nigerians were surprised to hear from the military personnels that there is no weapon in the Nigerian armory to fight Boko Haram. The question is, where are the weapons claimed to have been purchased by the military Generals (“former head of states”) whether as a military or civilian head of state? Goodluck Jonathan then ran to our big brother for help (America) they denied us, so he applied other methods to get the weapon, but the enemies of his government began to condemn him for seeking other means of getting weapon. Today, Boko Haram is already a thing of the past. Remember how much time and efforts he gave them to change before rooting them out. History has it that the Boko Haram group presented one big public figure even among the presidential flag bearers to negotiate on their behalf with the Federal Government. This implies that the person in question knows much about them, being part of them and must have been protecting their interest before projecting him as their negotiator.

Nigeria does not need a religious fanatic to lead them. Any attempt, more problems will be created. Goodluck Jonathan qualifies in this aspect.

Moreover, our dear country does not need an ethnically bias person to pilot the affairs of this nation. We don't need a president that will wake up one day and start instructing the Yorubas in other ethnic states to go back home or the Hausas to start returning back to base, or the Ibos to return to Enugu. Neither do we need a dictator and a tyrant as our president.

In the power sector, it is clear that electricity supply is a problem in this country which has been there for a long time, the best approach is what has been done that is by deregulating the sector. The president re-arranging this into; power generation, distribution and transmission. If concerted effort is been made by all and sundry, power will be stable before the next 5 years, “all things being equal”. You cannot get a good harvest without clearing the farm or bush, planting the seed and nurturing the crops. All these require patience.

In the oil sector, he has summoned courage to dislodge the cabal that has held grip of the oil wells of this nation, those who sat on the fortune of this country. May God give him the courage and wisdom required to complete it in Jesus name, amen.
President Goodluck Jonathan believes in the philosophy that says “Let me do my best while you do your own best”. He also acknowledges the distribution of power. Why on earth does a reasonable fellow keep on blaming the president on the issue that concerns other arms of government such as The Legislative and Judiciary? Moreover, why should he always be blamed for the ineffectiveness of other tiers of government such as the state and the local government? When majority are calling for the head of Prof. Atahiru Jega, the INEC Chairman for what they think he has planned against the president and PDP's victory which is the president's party, the president refused to join them. If he had, Jega could have been removed by now. Only few Nigerian leaders can accommodate all these.

Presidential debate has taken place twice independently by international standard. President Goodluck Jonathan was in attendance of the two with other aspirants. We appreciate them and honour them as they have equally honoured us. Those who did not attend it could be unhealthy, unable to speak good English, not having the solution to the national problem and not having respect of any kind for the citizens of this country and the international community, yet they need our votes and wish to rule us. I believe that Nigerians have out-grown this level.

I wish all peaceful, free and fair elections that will usher in a viable president and other good leaders that will lead us.

Long live Federal Republic of Nigeria!

Italian Customs Officers Seize Rare Giant Egg

Customs officials in Italy said they have seized a large “elephant bird” egg fossil that a man attempted to ship to the United States. UPI has more:
Officials said customs officers at Bergamo Airport examined the Los Angeles-bound package, which had a declared value of about $550, and discovered the giant prehistoric egg worth an estimated $100,000.
The customs agency said the fossil is believed to be the egg of an Aepyornis maximus, also known as an “elephant bird.” The giant kiwi-like creatures, which could reach 10 feet tall and weigh more than 1,000 pounds, lived on the island of Madagascar for millions of years until they were wiped out by hunting about 300 years ago.
The customs agency said the man has been reported to prosecutors.
The sender, identified only by the initials CC, said his wife is from Madagascar and he had received the egg as a wedding gift.

PDP Berates APC For Linking Jonathan With OPC Protest In Lagos

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Wednesday, slammed the All Progressives Congress (APC) for trying to link President Goodluck Jonathan to Monday’s protest by the members of the Odu’a Peoples Congress (OPC) in Lagos.

The party, in a statement made available to newsmen in Abuja, by its national publicity secretary, Chief Olisa Metuh, described the allegation as cheap blackmail by the opposition in its bid to discredit the electoral process.

The PDP said it was absurd for anybody to attempt to link Jonathan to disagreements and a protest between rival factions of an organisation such as the OPC, having proven himself to be a peaceful, humble and forthright leader.

The ruling party therefore advised the APC to focus on its dwindling electoral fortunes instead of continuously raising false alarms and unsubstantiated allegations against President Jonathan and the PDP-led Federal Government.

‘How I Slept With Prominent Pastors And Ministers’ – International Prostitute

A young lady who was declared missing over a decade ago in Ghana has turned up at Pastor T.B. Joshua’s church in Nigeria with a harrowing tale to tell.

“I was an international prostitute,” the young lady who gave her name as Precious tearfully told the congregation at The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) on Sunday, March 15, 2015.
According to Precious, her problems emanated from an unusual encounter she had with a man coming home from school aged 15. “He asked me to give him an apple I had eaten,” she explained.

“When he was going, he smiled at me in a weird way. That night, I saw the same man in my dream sleeping with me. I woke up in a pool of blood.”

The once bright and prodigious student began mingling with bad friends at school and was forcibly introduced one night to an intoxicating mix of alcohol and marijuana, causing her to pass out.

“When I woke up, I saw myself Unclad on the bed and realised someone had slept with me,” she confessed.

Convinced to run away from home, Precious’ new group of friends introduced her to a lady leading an international prostitution ring.

Equipped with skimpy clothes and housed in a luxurious apartment, the young girl entered fully into the dirty world of prostitution, sleeping with multiple men every night.

Unknown to her, a manhunt had ensued for Precious, her disappearance from home even being announced on national television and radio.

Apart from dressing seductively, the young lady was informed diabolical routes must be taken to ensure success in her fledgling ‘career’.

Taken to a notorious witchdoctor, a special cream mixed with the follicles of her vaginal hair was prepared for the purpose of seduction.

Precious’ new lifestyle was accompanied by an intense addiction to alcohol and smoking to the extent that it practically replaced food.

“I didn’t just drink beer,” she explained. “I would take whisky or hard liquor instead of eating food. As much as I was smoking and drinking is as much as I would get clients.”

Branching out on her own after staying with her ‘love-vendor’ for just two months, Precious rented an apartment to continue her immoral activities.

“I was going out with only big men, oftentimes ministers,” she admitted. “I didn’t just go out with any men at all. Our pictures were in all the big hotels. I would initiate them into our society.”

Asked how she was able to ‘initiate’ men of such status, Precious explained that the witchdoctor or ‘baba’ had given her a dark substance to drop in their drinks.

Seeking even more seductive powers, the young lady returned to the same spiritualist. “I found myself Unclad after drinking from the shrine there,” she vividly described.“I saw this man putting his mouth on my private parts and blood was coming out.”

Another cream was prepared, this time with her own blood, ground with the particles of a mirror and water from the shrine. In addition, a ring and chain with spiritual implications were presented to her.

“I would place it on my neck and wear a sexy, dark dress,”she said, explaining the function of the chain. “It would be in the middle of my bosoms. Immediately you set your eyes on me lustfully, you would follow me and get confused.”

Living large, Precious soon had 16 ‘bodyguards’ following her, drove the latest vehicles and donned the latest fashion. Her next target was pastors.

“The witchdoctor said I should sit in the front seat of the church, wearing a sexy dress,” she narrated. “Once the pastor sets his eyes on me, within fifteen minutes, he would call me out, pretend to give me a Bible quotation but actually give me his phone number… Whether he’s married or not, he must sleep with me that same day.”

The lives of all the men she encountered sexually were automatically destroyed. “That’s how I brought down a very great pastor in my country,” she added, acknowledging though that she was only able to entrap clerics who were not genuine in their Christianity.

Additionally, Precious explained that promiscuous pictures of hers were available all over the internet, also pushing men to sin. “I placed my pictures on Facebook. Whoever you are, as you are looking at my picture, you will begin to self-service yourself,” she stated.

Despite obtaining large amounts of money, Precious acknowledged that she ‘didn’t achieve anything’ with her resources and her beauty was steadily fading away although she was just in her late 20s.

One day, a man dressed in white apparel met her on the street and requested for money. Reluctantly obliging, the man said God would bless her for her generosity and advised her to visit Prophet T.B. Joshua’s popular church in Lagos, Nigeria.

“I saw the man in my dream that night repeating the instruction. That is what convinced me to come to The SCOAN for deliverance.”

On the prayer line, Precious held up a bottle of whiskey and cried out that her life was a mess, adding that she was ready to forsake her old life of prostitution and substance abuse. “It’s the devil,” T.B. Joshua angrily declared before praying for her. Violently reacting to the prayer, she was delivered from the spirit tormenting her.

”I now vomit at even the scent of smoke,” Precious testified, a week after her deliverance, stating that all urges to take alcohol, smoke and sleep with men had completely gone.

She tearfully advised young people not to be deceived by the lure of worldly treasures and pleasures, adding that she is actually happy for the first time in her life following her exorcism.

250,000 Copies of Leaked Audio File On Ekiti Polls Distributed – APC

The Ekiti State chapter of All Progressives Congress, APC, says it has printed and distributed 250,000 copies of the audio and video recordings revealing the details of how the June 21, 2014 governorship election was allegedly rigged in favour of Governor Ayodele Fayose of the Peoples Democratic Party.

A statement by the Publicity Secretary of the party in Ekiti, Taiwo Olatunbosun, said the recording exposed a grand conspiracy coordinated by some officers of the Nigerian Army.

Olatunbosun said the party took the step to let the world know the truth about “Ekiti election miracle where a governor with unrivaled sterling performance failed to win a single local government out of the 16 local government areas of the state, including his own”.

He said it was giving victory to a man, who two years earlier, had lost a senatorial election in the state.

The statement read, “Details of corrupt practices by soldiers, as contained in the tape, lent credence to the inclusion of the military as a defendant at the Ekiti State Election Petitions Tribunal, challenging the return of Fayose as the winner of the election.

“In the tape, secretly recorded by Army Captain Sagir Koli, voices of participants in the election fraud were heard talking about operational details and giving instructions on how to help Fayose to win the election. Koli went on exile after releasing the tape.

“Another group, a non-governmental organisation, had two weeks ago produced 200,000 copies and distributed them around the world with copies sent to the United Nations, African Union and ECOWAS secretariats.

“Nigerians and indeed decent people of the world will hear of how a Brigadier-General in the Nigerian Army was thoroughly disgraced by brigands and lawless individuals in the PDP, who should ordinarily quiver when an army corporal gives orders.

“Nigerians will hear a Brigadier-General talking of how he set up ‘Strike Forces’ to be unleashed on APC leaders and supporters in cowing them down to submission in order to ensure victory for Fayose.

“It is a pity and a tragedy of our history that a man who is supposed to be in chains and drilled in frog-jump by a Nigerian Army recruit for his crime is the one assuring a serving Brigadier-General in the Nigerian Army of promotion if he could help the PDP in the dishonourable enterprise of poll fraud in favour of a man with several alleged criminal cases in courts.

“Nigerians will hear Fayose and other co-conspirators talking and boasting that the top echelons of the Nigerian Army and their Commander-in-Chief were the chief executioners of Ekiti poll fraud. The world will hear Fayose talking about how he collected soft copies of INEC’s sensitive election materials and got them printed to give him victory”.

Olatunbosun explained that the confession by Fayose that he collected soft copies of INEC sensitive materials and got them printed had confirmed the party’s claim that photochromic papers were used to fix Ekiti election in his favour.

How DSS Forced Me To Sign Document Recanting ‘N7bn Bribe’ Allegation Against CAN – Borno Pastor

The Borno State-born pastor, Kallamu Musa-Dikwa, who affirmed the allegation that President Goodluck Jonathan gave the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, N7 billion to support his re-election bid, has cried out over threats to his life by operatives of the Directorate of State Service (DSS).

While insisting that the Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor-led CAN collected the said amount, Dikwa said the DSS had forced him to sign a document which they would use against him to prove to the entire world that “the President (Jonathan) did not bribe CAN to work against the presidential candidate of APC”, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.)

Dikwa said the DSS planned to use the ‘document’, which he was made to sign under duress in some national dailies to portray him as telling lies against the body of Christ.

“They forced me to sign and promise to link me up with the CAN President, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, for us to ‘settle’,” he said

The pastor claimed that all these were in addition to pleas from other Christian leaders, especially the Abuja CAN Chairman, to deny that the Christian body collected the said amount (N7bn).

Speaking in Kaduna Thursday, Dikwa told journalists that after the DSS Operatives had treated him like a “common criminal”, they forced him to sign a document to deny what he had said.

According to him, since he broke the news to Nigerians of how the CAN collected N7bn to work against Buhari, his life had been under threat.

He added that as soon as he finished addressing members of the press on the alleged bribe, the DSS invited him to its headquarters in Abuja and asked him to say that CAN did not collect a dime from the President.

The cleric said, “The DSS invited me to their office in Abuja. They wanted to know who gave me the information that CAN collected N7bn from Jonathan and I told them.

“They said all the people I mentioned will be invited. I told them to go ahead and invite them. I even told them how the money was distributed.

“They also said they wanted to know whether the opposition All Progressives Congress was the one sponsoring me to tarnish the image of the CAN and even mention Sam Nda-Isaiah (Publisher of the Leadership Newspapers) and I told them my relationship with him is not political, because since 2006, I have been with him. I told them he (Sam) does not know anything about my revelation on the said money.

“They also asked me what my connection was with the APC presidential candidate, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), and Governor Rotimi Amaechi, and I told them there is nothing that connect us. I told them whatever I said was done for the love of my country.

“After sometime, they drafted a letter which said, ‘I, Pastor Musa… the information I gave that the President gave CAN money was false and that I won’t do that again’.

“They said I should copy what they wrote in my own hand writing. I have to do it because I was alone with them and I felt they could harm me and frame me up.

“They forced me to sign after writing what they drafted. I wanted to refuse but I feared for my life”.

SAY WHAT?! Read What Kim Kardashian And Kanye West Are Doing Just To Have Second Baby

American television and social media personality, socialite, and model, Kim Kardashian and her superstar rapper husband Kanye West have done the unthinkable just to have a baby.

According to E! news, Kim was said to have admitted that her doctor has warned her against having too much sex in a bid to get pregnant. She revealed she and her husband have sex up to 15 times a day all in a bid to get a second child. She was quoted telling E! News saying:

“The doctors said he thinks I’m having sex too much. He said one time is more powerful…so we’ve tried everything. ‘I’ve done everything so perfect to try and get pregnant. There’s a list of things you shouldn’t be doing and I was perfect for eight to 10 months and now I don’t understand.
‘I’m going to do everything that I want to do and that includes going platinum. Hopefully I will get pregnant doing all the wrong things. I’m totally changing my tactics. I’m over it. I’m over trying, over-thinking it, hence why I dyed my hair blonde. ‘Literally teenagers on meth get pregnant in two seconds. It’s crazy. When you don’t want to be pregnant, it happens.’”
